  • Folks gathered at Artists Image Resources (AIR) along with Cyberpunk Apocalypse for some printmaking, local food, and performances.
  • TeeRex Syndicate hosted a live screen printing session where visitors customized their own limited-edition 2013 Carnegie International t-shirts.
  • The Apartment Talks series featured artist talks, screenings, and presentations at the exhibition's satellite apartment in Lawrenceville.
  • Many local artists gathered in the galleries for our drawing experience with this year's Carnegie Prize winner, Nicole Eisenman.

Even as the 2013 Carnegie International brings the far reaches of the world to Pittsburgh, it remains firmly rooted in the city. This engagement with the city of Pittsburgh will explore multiple perspectives of art and culture on a local and international scale, and take shape through related art projects and events outside the museum walls.
